Going "All In"

Philippians 3:7-11

"But whatever was to my profit I now consider loss for the sake of Christ.  What is more, I consider everything a loss compared to the surpassing greatness of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whose sake I have lost all things. I consider them rubbish, that I may gain Christ and be found in him, not having a righteousness of my own that comes from the law, but that which is through faith in Christ - the righteousness  that comes from God and is by faith.  I want to know Christ and the power of his resurrection and the fellowship of sharing in his sufferings, becoming like him in his death, and so, somehow, to attain the resurrection from the dead."

We will miss you, Kevin.  2.21.08

You and Brian did an AMAZING job this morning! I thought it was so healing for everyone to hear the kids' joyful comments about Kevin. You didn't hear a little boy ask "Is he with Jesus?" It was so adorable! Thank you so much!

Thank you Jodie. It was truly the power of other people's prayers that got us through. I started to fall apart again when we first got there and were in the closet trying to find our shirts. Bri closed the door and prayed with me and literally pulled me up out of it. From that point forward, I knew that I could do it.

One little boy was so relieved to hear that we were sure Mr. Kevin was in Heaven. It was almost like he needed to hear it from us. He wanted to be sure that he was there.

I peeked at some of the cards, and I think Suzie and the kids are really going to be touched by them. It was really good for the kids too, to be able to feel like they were helping Miss Suzie feel a little better.
